Well, it's December! So much to do for the holidays!
First things first:
Now that I've had breast cancer surgery, I realize how valuable my friends and relatives are. They complain that I don't ask for help.
Well, I did and my friends were gracious and accommodating! I am healing but I couldn't have done it without my friends and relatives. They came by..they applied the medicine to my wound. They shopped for me and cooked for me.
I am grateful for Camille Garrett, Michelle Dunham, Denise Gresham Knox, Jeanette and Janice, Debbie next door-- and so many others.
I extend special love to my sister Sylvia, who flew in, sat through the surgery, rented a beautiful place where I could recover, bathed me and plucked out my stitches.
She let me sleep in the main bedroom with a site of the sun rising over Lake Michigan. That helped in the healing process.
I couldn't have made it without my precious friends and my wonderful sister Sylvia.
Thank you...THANK YOU!
So, I'm off to enjoy the holidays!
