Still working

When you're in business, you lose track of holidays. What's that? Of course, Christmas is a biggie. Use the down time to catch up on projects, plan ahead and to de stress.

Breaks are needed

Just got back from Mexico. So important to have breaks...even though I brought the laptop. But, it's better to be on the beach than behind a desk working like a Trojan.

But take the lap top to keep the e-mails under control.

PR for Founders' Day

First meeting with team charged with handling PR for Founders' Day in Little Rock for AKA. I'm busy making contacts, working the list and pinning down the possibilities.

Chat Daddy's party

Always support those who support you.  Chat Daddy has come to every party of mine and I was honored to drive to the North side, endure the parking drama and all that goes with getting out, in order to be there for his birthday.  I also supported his call to donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, since he's recovered from Leukemia.  Plus, Dad suffers from Lymphoma and the cause is close to my heart.

Chicago's Minority Business

Put issue to bed of Chicago's Minority Business, the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council's newspaper.  Thanks to Cynthia Jordan for her deft management of the project by keeping on deadline and on point.

New week

Always great to get off to a great start for the week. It is not quite 10AM and I've proofed two publications. Lovin' it!

RIO Directory

Working on the Directory for the new team of Region Information Officers for Alpha Kappa Alpha. So exhilarating to see a concept go from an idea to a publication. The ultimate high.
